From 14th to 16th June inShanghai Transport Logistic China reaches its 7th International edition for Logistics, Mobility, IT and Supply Chain Management.

Being the meeting point at worldwide level of the transport logistic industry, year after year the Transport Logistic China Exhibition attracts international exhibitors and visitors. With 16800 visitors from 69 countries in 2014, Transport Logistic China is the leading international trade fair and meeting place for the industry.

The RCMS project takes part at 6th European Transport Research Conference



RCMS project attends the 6th European Transport Research Conference MOVING FORWARD:Innovative solutions for Tomorrow’s Mobility in Warsaw – Poland from18th to 21st of April.

The Horizon 2020 co-funded Project RCMS (Rethink Container Management Systems), consists in the implementation of a Robotic Container Management System, an innovative infrastructure-specific and resource-efficient solution for enhanced cross-modal inter-connectivity and active container management, capable of providing optimal and adaptable responses to changes in conditions of multi-modal transport network by all actors in the value chain (shipping companies, port terminal operators, truck and railways companies).

Thanks to the relevance in the transport, scientific and research sectors, RCMS projectis invited to be in the European Commission Booth to present the  “3D architect model” (see the pictures below).

The exhibition TRA 2016 represents a great showcase, being its scope the coverage of all modes of surface transport: road, rail and waterborne. Here the latest achievements or European Research and technological developments will be presented and thoroughly discussed by participants. A broad spectrum of research and innovation activities will range from basic sciences to application-oriented engineering, social, technical and economic aspects, as well as policies and standards.
